The Money Mountain, which will soon change its name to - Have a Heart - raises funds exclusively for local grass-roots projects and charities in Gloucestershire via on-air appeals, events and partnerships with local businesses

Since it was established in 1981, it has raised over £1.3 million, benefiting hundreds of causes with annual grants ranging from a few hundred to several thousands of pounds.

Over the last year the charity has played the cast of Hollyoaks in a celebrity football match, entered battle at the Cirencester Army Barracks for It's a Knockout and held the annual on-air Christmas Auction.

Case Study - The James Hopkins Trust

The James Hopkins Trust in Gloucester is a regular beneficiary of our charity. The Trust provides respite nursing care for severely disabled, life limited and life threatened under five year olds from across Gloucestershire.

The Trust's centre at Kites Corner in Gloucester provide respite day care plus their trained nursing staff care for children in their own homes giving parents a much needed break and opportunity for time off.
